So it's been a LONG time since I update a new journal. I think my last one was like nearly 6 months ago.

Just want to tell you guys that I once again have a girl friend and she has been inspiring me to do many things in life. Though we are long distance, its not that big of a deal and i think it helps with taking it slow in our relationship.

Anyways, I guess that's all I wanted to say. Be sure to check out my gallery within the next few months. I am sure it will be filled with more abstract art and more space illustrations (as that is her favorite genre of art i make).

You can check out my newest space scene here:

It was a gift to my girlfriend, and although it looks really empty, I purposefully left it open for collaboration or a chance to put something there in the future.

Anyways, That's about it with my life. Infinarius, my art group that was created in march of 2012, has been on hold from my lack of inspiration. However, I am proud to see that people are interested in joining and that I am starting to get some new staff to help me run the group. I think things will be picking up more often in the next couple of months. If any one of you are interested in joining, here is the link to the group:

As for anything else to mention about my life, i can't think of anything. Hope everyone is doing well and I hope you enjoy the future pieces to come!

My name is Ryan and I was born 8/10/87. I have an Associates degree in Graphics Design. But, a little bit about myself first. I got into making art when I was about 13. I first started dabbling in Adobe PS when the only version they had was 5.0 at the time, and since then I have upgraded to the latest cs5. I used as a means of teaching myself the different filter tricks of photoshop and soon fell in love with the program.

Since then I have a completed over 10,000 tutorials in photoshop, as well as taking a few college classes here and there, and am now starting to dabble in Web Design.

I can do professional work when I find it, but mostly create and utilize my talents as a hobby, so most of what you see in my gallery is hobby work, with little professional pieces. I am just like any other artist when it comes to expressing their emotion into a form of visual art. The main media that helps me accomplish this is listening to my favorite genre's of music. I am highly inspired with any form of electronica, including Trance, Techno, Dubstep, and Drum 'n Bass. I listen to Ambient music when creating my Space illustrations.

That's about all I can write for now. If you have any questions regarding anything about me or my art, send me a note. =D

Hi,i have seen your galery and like your work, which me remind pictures on dubstep video, i think it's a good reprentation for this type of music, i used photoshop since april of this year and have recognised few elements on your work, because i'm progress with french tutorial and i would achieve your level, do you think it's possible only with free time ? I mean i would know what elements, colours and atmosphere can i use for be better in photomanipulation ?

I've done over 10,000 tutorials in the first 2 years of learning photoshop on a website called, I taught myself how to use photoshop and played around in it for as much time as a kid would sit there and play video games (roughly 7-8 hours a day). My styles have changed so often over the years, but I always try to incorporate something new into my styles and for every new piece of art I make. I would think it is possible to achieve a level of greatness with photoshop skills in a short amount of time, but it really boils down to finding fans that like your work and ones who support you, and for the ones that don't, they are the people who are meant to build your confidence with criticism so that you learn and build yourself up to where I am. With fans, comes more support, and "getting yourself out there" kind of thing. If you are serious and want to become a great artist, I would post your work on a lot of different artist-type websites that allow you to dump your images on their webiste to receive feedback.

I've been using photoshop since I was 15 years old, and now I am gonna be turning 27 this year. I have a degree in Graphics Design, and although that sounds amazing, I really don't do much graphics design work, but am still a commission-type artist. I love to make things look real and make them flow as if they were actually 'real' just like any other photomanipulation artist would want, or even an illustrator.
